After the 7th pay commission comes, central government employees are inclined to increase the minimum wage from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26000. The media report claimed that Prime Minister Modi could make additional announcements in the
minimum wage on August 15, 2018. If this happens, it will benefit 10 million central employees and pension holders. However, one warning from RBI may turn the water on this hope.
RBI reviewed the ephemeral policy earlier this month. Once again, the suspicion is that research in HRA (house rent allowance) is likely to increase inflation. Experts believe that the possibility of increasing salaries
decreases if the government applies to RBI's concerns. The central bank said earlier that applying the 7th pay commission could have an impact on the rate of inflation. Revised HRA structure has been implemented in July 2017.
