Maranews Network.Gandhinagar: On the issue of a delhiation of midday meal employees today, Vadagam MLA Jagneesh Maavani presented the interview with Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama. Bhupendrasinh Chudasama expressed surprise over the questions of the employees listening to the representations on this issue and assured them of action to be taken into consideration.
Today, at 5 o'clock in the morning, a delegation of employees working in government mid-day meal scheme in Government schools reached Gandhinagar and reached the Swarnim complex to meet with the education minister. In order to make full-time employees working in midday meals, to work as per central government guidelines, to apply the minimum wage provision and to provide other benefits and to give children a separate quantity and financial support for breakfast with breakfast.
Jignesh Mewani said that mid-day meals were not paid for the March-April services. And we have not been able to make them permanent for more than three decades now. So that is their own subsistence question. The employees who are giving sincerely food to the children are being exploited economically, for which it is necessary for them to get justice and therefore today they have been presenting and discussing with Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.
